52nd Annual Luncheon
The 52nd Annual Program and Luncheon of the Sickle Cell Association of Savannah Incorporated was held on Saturday October 4, 2025 12Noon at the Savannah State University Student Union Ballroom. Themed, “The State of Sickle Cell Disease: A Community of Hope and Reslience” was a very informative and engaging session where the importance of sickle cell education was re-emphasized and attendees had an opportunity to receive from Ms. Natarsha Green, the program’s moderator, a first hand account of the challenges that she and other sickle cell warriors encounter in every aspect of their lives.
Speakers such as Dr. Bonzo Reddick, District Health Director Coastal Health GA Department of Health and Dr. Carolyn Eiland, Chief Clinical Officer, Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care, Inc gave insight of what they see in their own profession. The Keynote Speaker, Tabatha McGee CEO of the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Incorporate delivered a compelling message about the need for more Comprehensive Sickle Cell Clinics throughout the State of Georgia
